As wood is a natural raw material, it is important to try to avoid direct and prolonged exposure to intense sunlight to prevent the fading of painting and/or damage to wood. As well as avoiding placing the sculptures in environments of extreme humidity or subject to sudden changes in temperature, this can compromise the integrity of the wood.
Consider putting your sculptures in internal controlled environment, where it is possible to maintain temperature and humidity at appropriate levels. In addition, avoid exposure to smoke, excessive dust or any substance that can accumulate on the surface of the sculpture.
Upon receiving your sculpture, follow the instructions sent in the box and, if possible, remove the sculpture from the box using fabric gloves to avoid transferring oils and fats from the skin to the surface of your sculpture.
Avoid touching the areas directly with Gold application as it can get dark and worn out over time.
Whenever transporting the sculpture, protect it with soft material, such as non- rough fabric, to avoid accidental risks or abrasions.
Cleaning Care
To clean your pieces, use only a soft brush or a soft and dry cloth, such as flannel or microfiber, and gently cleanse the sculpture. Avoid rough materials that can scratch paint and gold and never use water, cleaning liquids, chemicals or brighteners.
